Therese Parner

Therese Parner was born in Gävle 1983. Today she works and lives in Stockholm. Therese studied at Royal Institute of Art. Her latest exhibition was at Gallery Box in Gothenburg in 2017, where she showed sculpture. In Therese Parners sculptures the touch points is in the body as a physical form but also on a more symbolic level as the vital machinery that carry forward the soul's nervous essence. The body required for the sake of doing, an ongoing cycle of taking and giving. In the sculptures there is a search for the body as a more elusive form, falling out of the hands.
